About Shelkin Consulting, LLC

Pete Shelkin earned his BS in Economics and Operations Research before making a career of managing IT departments in the healthcare industry. Mr. Shelkin has over twenty years of IT management experience, and has worked for both payor and provider organizations. During his career Mr. Shelkin has successfully reigned in multi-million dollar budgets, negotiated and managed outsourcing arrangements, planned and executed IT department mergers, provided leadership during department turnaround efforts, created IT strategic plans which support the business plan, and managed enterprise-level projects. Shelkin Consulting, LLC was formed in 2003 by Pete Shelkin in order to provide IT consulting services to healthcare organizations nationwide. The mission of Shelkin Consulting is simple: Find the value, then make it happen. In order to achieve this mission, Shelkin Consulting works with executive level managers to identify the opportunities their organizations should be pursuing, create plans to realize the value in those opportunities, then execute those plans.
